Ever walk up to a field where a game (any game) is in progress and you see the teams proudly displaying a banner showing off their players? It’s pretty cool, both for the spectators and the players themselves.
This was another item I created for the 2021 12U Chicago Warriors Baseball team for their Cooperstown, NY trip, more on that here >. The week of games in Cooperstown, NY is kicked off with a parade of teams. Each of the 60+ teams are announced as they enter the main stadium, lead by their team banner.
There is no I in team and these boys have come so far in their baseball journey as a team and as friends. I wanted to create something that embodied their Warrior spirit and highlight them as a team. I think we got it.
I photographed the team prior to the start of their season (note still clean white pants 😉). Did quite a bit of editing in photoshop (scroll 👇 to see the original photo 😆), dropped in a new background, added their names and the Chicago Warriors Logo that I recreated: more on that here >
